Project Six is an all-Filipino alternative band hailing from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Formed just six months ago in December 2022, the band initially came together to perform at a local Christmas event. Their shared passion for music led them to continue creating music together, and their journey has been nothing short of remarkable. On June 17, 2023, Project Six made a bold decision to venture beyond their hometown. They embarked on a journey to Lethbridge, Alberta, to participate in the city’s inaugural battle of the bands. This marked an important milestone for the band as they performed outside their familiar territory and competed for the first time as a unit. Their eagerness to test their skills was amplified by the fact that they were up against talented and renowned bands from all over Alberta.
In the intense elimination round held on June 17, Project Six faced stiff competition from eight other bands. Joining them in the finals were esteemed groups like Northbound and Proxy from Calgary, as well as Jam Nuts and Aba Kadabra representing Lethbridge.
